Initially produced to commemorate the birth of Aurelio’s first child, Daniel. The project continues to be a cooperation between educator and winemaker, Joaquin Galvez and Aurelio. This wine is of the greatest concentration and it is delivered after one year of ageing in 50% new and 50% one year barrels. It is sold shortly after bottling, resulting in a muscular, rich and fleshy wine.

Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar 91 Vivid ruby. Explosively perfumed aromas of fresh red and dark berries, Asian spices, smoky minerals and incense. Deeply concentrated raspberry and cassis flavors are surprisingly energetic-in fact almost weightless. Racy and focused, with pure red fruit qualities carrying through a long, sappy finish. A very pretty wine that blends deep, sweet fruit with refreshing energy and clarity.
